"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"

This acrylic painting was inspired by an image I seen in Vogue. I call this painting, "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder," because she is neither black or white, she has no nationality, she is just a mere woman as Eve was to Adam. I wanted to effortlessly capture her elegance at it's best.

I had to compliment this black and white variation with a bold red lip, which to me defined her radiance. It took me almost three weeks of painting the background, then her body, and finally detailing her features to finish it off with my red lips and signature. It's now hanging on the wall at my mother's house waiting for her exhibition date. I couldn't let her go so easily and with all my dedicated time, I deserve a big check for my work of art. She stands 30x40 inches tall and she commands all of your attention, Beyonce has nothing on her...!!!
