A picture speaks louder than Words

Sometimes in the mist of your storm, you have to say these things to yourself to find peace and resilence. This illustration was inspired by this strength to hold on. I would like to say that this woman represents more than just one person to me because in her I see my mother, my grandmother, my great grandmother, my sister, and myself. Many can relate to this woman and her emotions, just as many can relate to this child. An innocent child who has yet to fully understand this sense of pain, but he can sense something. Although, her tears are often unspoken and almost hidden, she holds on with hope. There's a chance and possibility that through her pain this child may have something better to look forward to.
